  if you think about it, jehovahs promise for the faithful is actually a bum deal.

  some would even say a con.

  Jehovahs - to be more exact, the org's promise (and requirements) for the faithful. Corporate diktats.

  (john 3:13) he thus showedthat good people who died before him, such as abraham, moses, job, and david,did not go to heaven.

  thats somthing i see thats asked in my kingdom hall if you want to go get more than 2 years in collage.thing in some one asking that to me or etc i cant say any thing or that would show that i dont believe.. i hate when some one askes me that when i try to plan ahead when it comes to what job i want.what job would help me hold my own but no god will give if you put him first.i dont believe in god even when i did i never buyed into that.. it seems you cant get away from the question im only 13 and i get that question theres no getting away from it..

  Next time someone asks you that question, just nod and say, "It's got to come some time, but the Bible says that even Jesus didn't know when the end would be. Didn't he give us the principle at Luke 14:28 that we should be prepared in life? Shouldn't I apply that and prepare for my life? I don't want to live off other people like some do."

  Take it easy and keep learning. You've got your thinking skills developing.

  some years ago, i attended a jw wedding.

  marriage speaker said something which changed my life for the better, and it helps me even now.

  Thanks to the treatment and seriously bad attitudes of some elders, (individually & collectively) I began to examine and research the org and its teachings. Pandora's box then opened up for me. I'm truly grateful.

  I seem to remember the org and J.W.'s pointing an accusing finger at "Christendom" for charging money for the use of their churches for christenings, weddings, & funerals.

  Welcome to the club, WTBTS.

  Looks like the cult is climbing on the bandwagon by charging congregations for "special events" now.

  Wherever J.W.'s buttocks settle, there's money to made.

  the lack of genuine friendship & lack of 'christian love'.

  having personally seen many a scandalous behaviour i began doing some research online some years ago.

  The elders in Hull who are mentioned in the YouTube video, don't seem to be aware of the warning which Jesus issued to such self-righteous hypocrites;

  JW Rumor: End of the Traveling Overseer

  a friend of mine has contacts to a family with several circuit overseers and special pioneers.

  they have good connections to bethel.. he told me that the latest rumor from bethel states that the cos should be abolished in their present form.

  they have also recently begun to take cos back to bethel.. over the same channel i have already heard of the car fleet program and that the dos should be abolished.. has anyone else already heard of it?

  What is the expense of an CO for the org? ZERO!

  The publishers pay for everything - cars, accommodation, living expenses, allowance.

  Mathew 24 is it a parable and if so what does it mean?

  each gospel has a scripture i believe that says that jesus only spoke in parables so this must mean that mathew chapter 24 about the end times is really just a parable.

  Millions upon millions of Christians in various denominations (and others) have been hoodwinked and convinced by their "divinely chosen" leaders into believing that every environmental/political/military/social upheaval indicates that the "last days" are here and that "judgement day" is just around the corner.

  From a strictly scriptural perspective, they are ignoring & ripping up every Bible verse where Jesus told Christians it was none of their business, (Acts 1:7) it would come as thief in the night, (Revelation.3:3) and it would come at a time when they (Christians) didn't think it would occur. (Matthew 24:44)

  There will be many people around the world who get out of bed this morning, but won't go to bed tonight. Live your life well.

  Not A Day Goes By Without Me Thinking About Watchtower

  although i consider myself completely "cured" from watchtower brainwashing, guilt tripping and propaganda, i realised today that there's not a day that goes by without me thinking of the cult we left.

  i think of my former family and what i'd like to say to them, what i'd try to explain and how i'd say it without them switching the "ignore" button and running away.. today on my instagram account my little step-brother "liked" a picture i posted.

  i didn't even know he was still on my friends list.
